……is a saying that I really do take to heart, and my aim is to transport you and your guests back in time.
I take a holistic approach that encompasses all the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the timeless classic that is Afternoon Tea.
All the delightful homemade treats that I choose to bake are traditional classic recipes that were once baked regularly in the family kitchen. Simple, honest fare made from core staples of butter, free range eggs, flour and sugar, when executed well, taste absolutely amazing and continue to stand the test of time.
We all have experiences and recollections around cake, so my aim at Timeless Teas is to evoke all those strong, positive and happy memories that I believe are there within us all. When asked, everyone can readily share what their favourite cake is.
The taking of Afternoon Tea should always be a pleasurable and relaxing experience with three key components at its heart – connection, conversation and most importantly CAKE!
