About Arkesden

Arkesden is arguably one of the prettiest little villages in the area with many traditional thatched cottages that would look more at home decorating a chocolate box!

The village itself is mentioned in the Domesday book and parts of the parish church date from the 14th century. An occasional stream meanders through the centre of the village and there are many footpath walks which allow you to see the abundance of spring and summer time flowers.

So once you’ve finished your afternoon tea, why not take gentle stroll and enjoy all the delights that this picturesque little place has to offer.
